The Situation

Skinz was a new skincare consultancy and distribution agency that was planning to enter the UAE market. As a business that would both sell products and provide consultancy services to spas and clinics, the founders wanted to create a crystal clear brand strategy that would encompass their joint ambitions, a  visual representation of this brand strategy through a new logo, and a marketing plan that would help them hit the ground running.

The Solution

As Skinz was completely new to the market, I&Co. conducted extensive market research through secondary sources and primary interviews with spa managers and experts. We then led a Brand Building Workshop with all the key stakeholders to understand the founders’ ambitions and guide them through the key questions that would help form their brand and marketing strategies. With these two sources of input, we went to work to create both strategies and a logo to reflect the brand.

The Outcome

  • Brand strategy that aligned the founders and clarified the business vision.
  • A new logo that reflected the brand strategy.
  • A marketing strategy that included market research, a competitive review, a spa penetration plan, and the brand’s activities for its initial 12 months.
